Community and Wellbeing

At North Devon Coasteering, we strongly believe in making coasteering accessible for all. We facilitate this by offering sessions that benefit mental health, physical health, for trauma release and supporting all disabilities plus supplemented sessions for the local community.

Coasteering For Mental And Physical Wellbeing

In the past we have ran sessions focused on mental health, trauma release, ADHD, Autism, and for physical disabilities. We have found the combination of jumping (no matter what height), being in the ocean and on rocks that are over 400 million years old, quite amazing for releasing emotions and focusing our minds. We also have a strong belief in getting as many people to enjoy the stunning North Devon Coastline as possible.

This is why we think there are only ever solutions to a problem, no matter the physical or mental capabilities of someone!

There is a whole heap of options for these types of sessions, as no 2 coasteering session are ever the same, so please get in touch to discuss.

Community Coasteering Projects

North Devon Coasteering run a community coasteering club for residents of North Devon, this is offered at a heavily discounted price of only £20 per session or there is the option of signing up monthly, which will guarantee you a spot on our sessions that are run twice a month. This is £40 per person, per month.

Our focus on these sessions will first and foremost be to have FUN! Whilst also exploring Croyde bay, Hele Bay, Combe Martin and Lee Bay, we will show the young people of North Devon all this beautiful coastline has to offer. The focus will be on building confidence within a group environment, confidence within themselves, ocean awareness including knowledge and appreciation, pass on an understanding of the local tidal range as well exploring the lower tide routes to learn about the geology and the ocean environment that we live with. We will also be going to new spots and exploring new routes that aren’t covered in any other public coasteering sessions!

North Devon coasteering will also be linking up with local companies to provide this service. If this is something you would be interested, please get in touch.
